Become a Member
The society offers two kinds of memberships:-
A: Life Members
All Medical practitioners registered with any state Medical Council (recognized by the Indian Medical Council) who practice ophthalmology with post graduate qualification in ophthalmology with special interest in the field of Glaucoma shall be eligible for becoming members of the society.
B: Honorary Members
Any person who has rendered outstanding service to Glaucoma in general and India in particular shall be eligible to this membership.
Admission and Qualification for Membership
All doctors with a postgraduate qualification in ophthalmology will be eligible to qualify for their application has been approved by the Executive Committee.
Subscription
At present the subscription of membership of the society shall be Rupees.2000/- for Indian Life members.
KINDLY REVIEW THE FOLLOWING :
Step 1 : Please review the current membership form.
Step 2: Please make payment by DD or Cheque in the name of Glaucoma Society of India payable at Chennai at any HDFC branch.
Step 3: Proof of payment made (photocopy of deposit slip) with completed form may be mailed to the glaucoma secretariat.
Step 4: On receipt of the completed set of documents your name will be entered in the temporary members directory.
Step 5: Your membership ID and status will be confirmed following ratification of membership at the next GSI Annual meeting.
